Employment History
Kessler McGuinness & Associates, LLC
October 2017 - April 2018
As an Intern Architect/Access Planner, my role was to provide clients with guidance on how to improve handicapped accessibility in multi-family housing, schools, and commercial spaces. During the process I studied state and federal accessibility codes including ADA, FHADM, MA521-CMR, ANSI (2003 & 2009), as well as many other municipal and local accessibility codes. As a member of the access planning team, one of my roles involved reviewing architectural plans (before construction), marking up places where things were not in compliance, and generating reports outlining potential issues and solutions. I also conducted various audits of existing places and generated similar reports.
Outside my role as an access planner, I attended conferences on accessibility, contributed posts to a company blog, and participated in organizations advocating for greater handicapped accessibility.

Summer 2016
Town of Marshfield, MA
In the summer of 2016 I helped the Town of Marshfield locate and address ADA violations occurring in its public parks and recreational spaces. I studied both federal and Massachusetts ADA guidelines and completed site work to locate and catalogue where the issues were. My deliverables to the town included a written report with my findings and recommendations, along with an excel spreadsheet cataloging the data I gathered.

Krainin Real Estate
Summers 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017
During my time at Krainin Real Estate I worked in a variety of roles. My main focus was on improving the quality of their website to best reflect the close-knit community that its culture represented. To me this meant implementing a content management platform to serve as a community resource, and developing web content including interactive maps and informational pages. I also assisted with office duties such as front-desk reception, and checking in/out vacation rental guests. During these assignments I enjoyed helping customers and solving problems, and I learned a tremendous amount about real estate which sparked my interest of the field.
Here are few of the projects I completed while working at Krainin:
